Located in Riverdale, New York, the Methodist Home for Nursing & Rehabilitation is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility that was founded in 1850. We have a longstanding tradition of providing top-notch healthcare to our residents in our historic, hotel-like environment. We offer short-term rehabilitation after surgery, injury, or stroke and long-term care once living on your own is no longer an option. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian organization whose physicians, nurses, and administrative staff are fully dedicated to getting you or your loved ones back to optimum functioning and better health.

Job Overview:

Jobs at our facility offer a chance to make a positive difference in our residents’ daily lives. We are looking for an energetic, driven individual to serve as a Hospital Liaison to build referral base, coordinate admissions and oversee all marketing initiatives for the facility. Candidate will meet with hospital case managers, discharge planners, local assisted living and adult homes. Candidate will coordinate and implement effective facility marketing and sales programs in the area as well as establish and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, etc to build referrals.

Requirements of the Hospital Liaison:

  • One (1) or more years’ experience in Skilled Nursing Facility, or other health care setting in marketing/sales role.
  • Must have connections within the area or be able to establish
  • Skilled nursing experience is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and promote technical information (i.e. clinical outcomes, data points).
  • Good understanding of Social Media including Facebook, Instagram
  • Knowledge of nursing home admissions procedures and insurances a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Reliable mode of transportation a must.
