Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team as an HR and Marketing Specialist. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with a passion for people management and creative communication, combining the best of Human Resources and Marketing. You will be responsible for driving employee engagement, fostering a positive work culture, and supporting talent acquisition, while also developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our value-added fastener distribution business. This job is full time and has flexible hybrid remote days; 1-2 days a week remote, 3-4 days in office.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Talent Acquisition: Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding to ensure the company attracts top talent.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to enhance workplace satisfaction, team morale, and retention.
- HR Operations: Maintain employee records, oversee compliance with labor laws, and administer company policies and procedures.
- Training & Development: Coordinate and deliver training programs to improve employee skills and performance.
- Internal Communication: Manage communication channels to keep employees informed and aligned with company goals.
Marketing:
- Content Creation: Develop and oversee marketing materials for business-to-business marketing, including sales presentations, product informational literature, and promotional products.
- Digital Marketing: Manage online platforms, including the website and social media accounts.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute both internal events (team-building activities, yearly memorial event) and external events (conventions and fairs, training sessions).
- Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all platforms and materials.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
- Merchandise / Brand Promotional Items: Management and ordering of products for promotional, sales and employee needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in both HR and marketing roles, or a strong background in one with exposure to the other.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with HR software and digital marketing tools
- Creative mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Microsoft 365 Products- Excel, Word and Windows applications
- Proficiency in graphic design or content editing tools.
- Experience with employer branding initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
