About the Role:

The HR Production & Legal Coordinator bridges the worlds of HR, legal, and production, working closely with both the Chief People Officer and the Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Content, Marketing, and Corporate. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to HR processes, provide administrative support, and gain exposure to production operations.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, organized, professional, and capable of balancing administrative tasks with operational support for HR and production initiatives. They need to be able to manage their workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic production company.


Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage the calendars of the Chief People Officer and the Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Content, Marketing, and Corporate, including scheduling internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel.
  • Organize departmental logistics, ensuring all resources and tools are aligned towards efficiency.
  • Handle expense reports and other administrative tasks as needed.

HR Coordination:

  • Oversee all aspects of HR onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and contractors.
  • Manage the company’s HRIS system, help process payroll, and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Perform I-9 verifications and maintain compliance with employment eligibility standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries on health insurance, benefits enrollment, 401k, etc.
  • Assist with generating ad hoc HR reports and analyses.
  • Provide support on various HR and recruiting-related tasks, including drafting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.

Production HR Support:

  • Assist the CPO with on-set safety training for Wonder Productions, including safety, workplace harassment prevention, mental health awareness, emergency procedures, etc.
  • Serve as a point of contact for production-related HR needs and work with the CPO on ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Help develop and implement production HR protocols.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal departments to coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with company OKRs.
  • Act as a liaison between the HR, Legal, and Production teams to foster collaboration and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR, legal coordination, production coordination, or similar administrative role; experience in the entertainment or media industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Google Workspace, and other relevant tools.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements, especially as they pertain to production environments, is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting teams and fostering positive work environments.

Salary & Benefits

Salary + Bonus Range: $75,000
