QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of relevant HR experience (3+ years preferred in government contracting), degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, working experience with an HRIS system (Paylocity preferred), SHRM or HRCI certification required, excellent interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with day-to-day HR needs, address employee inquiries, create communication content, maintain compliance, manage onboarding/offboarding, coordinate performance evaluations, contribute to company culture, administer HR programs, maintain HRIS database, and stay updated with industry regulations.

MSM Technology A Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) located in Quantico, VA is looking to fill the Human Resources Manager position in DMV (Remote). - Position: Human Resources Manager
- Location: DMV(Remote)
- Assist in the day-to-day needs of the HR department including but not limited to:
- Serve as a member of the HR team to address employee questions and concerns
- Create content and communications to employees
- Maintain compliance with employee files
- Onboard and offboard employees
- Escalate performance and related issues including support of disciplinary and termination activities
- Manage the performance improvement process in conjunction with the Director of Programs
- Coordinate/facilitate employee performance evaluations
- Contribute to a positive culture including outreach to employees
- Participate and support the planning of corporate functions
- Administer and model company policies, procedures, programs and philosophy
- Administer HR programs and liaison with benefit brokers
- Assist in open enrollment
- Maintain HRIS database and run reports out of Paylocity
- Maintain and share knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and federal/state employment laws that may affect the company and support associated compliance activities
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of relevant HR experience; 3+ years preferred in government contracting.
- Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or relevant years of experience.
- Working experience with an HRIS system, Paylocity is preferred.
- SHRM or HRCI certification is required.
- Confidentiality, integrity and ability to deal with sensitive information and issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges
