THE RUNDOWN
Playfly Sports is looking for an Ideation Coordinator to join our team in New York City.
The Ideation Coordinator, Playfly Creates will play a key role in supporting the creative direction and development of sales materials and creative projects across all Playfly business units. This individual will be responsible for ideating innovative marketing solutions that drive revenue and enhance fan engagement. Acting as a critical liaison within the Playfly Creates team, the Ideation Coordinator will connect internal stakeholders with design, creative activation, and insights to deliver tailored solutions for each unique project.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, cross-functional team player with strong technical and strategic expertise in sports media sales and/or corporate partnerships. The ability to think creatively, manage projects, and engage with diverse stakeholders is essential for success in this position.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Create and update presentation decks using data and research to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate across teams to develop innovative marketing strategies that drive revenue for Playfly business units ideas in response to external and internal client requests
- Integrate research, data analysis, and expanding commercial inventory to support strategic partnership initiatives and business verticals
- Ensure partnership initiatives are aligned with overarching goals and deliver tangible value for stakeholders
- Support project leads from conception through deployment by managing resources, logistics and approvals to meet deadlines with successful delivery
- Serve as a liaison between sales, design, creative activation, and data teams to ensure seamless collaboration
- Develop a strong understanding of the marketplace and advertiser/sponsor/category nuances to ensure Playfly’s capabilities can be marketed to potential clients
- Provide timely and concise updates to all parties on project timelines
- Other job-related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in sports marketing, corporate partnerships, creative project management, or a similar role within a marketing or media environment with a focus on creating and implementing innovative marketing solutions that drive revenue
- Experience with creative activation, collaborating across teams (sales, design, data, and strategy) to deliver compelling marketing campaigns and presentations
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong understanding of the sports landscape and how to leverage sports assets and data to create effective marketing strategies that enhance fan engagement and maximize revenue
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, providing innovative solutions to meet client needs and business objectives
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all project deliverables, including presentation decks, marketing materials, and project timelines
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot challenges that arise during the creative process and find solutions that keep projects on track
- Experience in project management software, Monday.com or similar system preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This role will take place in quiet office setting
- Minimal travel may be required for company-wide meetings
COMPENSATION
The pay range for this role is $50,000 to $52,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
