Pay Range & Qualifications

$45,000.00 - $60,000 (full time, 40+ hours) per year, can change based on experience and skill level.

*Candidates must be local to the Greater Atlanta area with a minimum of 2 years work experience.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Inchin’s Bamboo Garden is an Indo-Chinese restaurant chain from Atlanta, Ga. With over 25 locations, 3 different sub-brands, and across the United States and Canada, we are looking for a motivated and committed graphic designer to help us continue to grow the brand through design. The designer that joins our marketing team will be the only graphic designer for Inchin’s.

The graphic designer is responsible for a wide variety of design work to be used on/for websites, social media, email marketing, print media, and other digital platforms. The employee holding this position should be experienced in delivering creative ideas and following through to content creation. The graphic designer should be extremely well versed with the Adobe Creative Suite and be a self starter that is motivated and able to research and learn skills on the go when needed. The right candidate is able to manage a strong work load and multi task effectively. With direct oversight and support from the marketing director, the graphic designer will showcase their work by creating designs aligned with Inchin’s Bamboo Gardens’ branding and voice.

This is a full time role with 40+ hours of work weekly, with workload and hours differing from time to time. A few hours of work on the weekend can occur during busy times, and would be discussed when and if needed. This is hybrid role with in-office days occurring 1-3x weekly. This can change from week to week depending on outlying work and time of year. Compensation starts at $55,000 for full time, 40 plus hours, depending on skill set and experience- this can be lower if the candidate employed is not experienced. This is not an hourly role with a clock in and out mentality, as long as the work is completed that is all that matters. The right person for the role is someone who enjoys working at smaller companies with a home like feel, honing in and creating new skills, is good with little direction, and can be a self starter.

Requirements include:

• Strong graphic design background and creativity
• A minimum of 2+ years work experience
• Ability to research and learn new skills when needed
• A self-starter that is motivated and wants to push the boundaries of design
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or similar field
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines
• Package and prototype design
• Layout design skills
• Your own laptop that can be brought into work
• Vector designs
• Understanding of marketing concepts and design principles
• Proficiency with Adobe’s Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Flexible nature and the ability to understand company needs
• Great communication skills to explain thought process behind designs
• Basic copywriting skills
• Strong Illustration skills whether it be digital or hand drawn
• Coming into the office for meetings when needed
• Photography and some videography with editing experience, does not have to be in the food field but must know how to use DSLR cameras
• The ability to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time
• Small and large scale print materials, i.e business cards to wallpapers
• Video editing
• Being a responsible self-starter who is good at working alone
• Weekend work when needed (it would be scheduled and discussed in advance)
• Understanding of a salaried vs. hourly role

Responsibilities include:

• Efficient time management for each project
• Taking feedback and making necessary adjustments to design work
• Researching and understanding Inchin’s Bamboo Gardens’ audience and market base
• Developing illustrations, logos, and other visual designs
• Communicating effectively within Marketing Director and others on the team
• Ensuring final designs are always visually appealing and on brand
• Product design such as placemats, to go packaging, bottled sauces, and more
• Working with vendors to place print orders within the U.S. and around the world
• Working on templates for inspections, workbooks, and more
• Strong organization skills
• Problem solving skills

Additional Skills and Qualifications

• Auto CAD experience is a huge plus
• Having worked in the restaurant industry or being a foodie
• Detail orientation is a non-negotiable
• Web development and design would be very beneficial
