We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are looking to enhance our marketing efforts by bringing on an in-house photographer/videographer to showcase our projects and tell our story through compelling photo and video content.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative In-House Videographer/Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, with a keen eye for both video and photography, and the ability to create captivating content that highlights our custom pool building projects and showcases our brand. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop concepts, shoot and edit footage and photographs, and help elevate our online presence across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Photography: Capture stunning, magazine-worthy photographs of completed pool projects, highlighting details, elements, and the overall aesthetic to showcase our craftsmanship and design expertise. (Please note: staging will be required)
- Video Production: Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content that captures the essence of our projects, customer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes processes.
- Storytelling: Develop engaging narratives that showcase the craftsmanship and artistry involved in building custom pools, while highlighting the benefits and features of our services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm video ideas and campaigns that align with our brand goals and target audiences.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and responsibly manage all video and audio equipment, ensuring everything is in optimal condition for shoots.
- Content Creation: Produce various types of video content, including promotional videos, how-to guides, project showcases, and social media clips.
- Post-Production: Edit videos to ensure a polished final product; integrate graphics, music, and narration as needed to enhance storytelling.
- Social Media Sharing: Optimize video content for social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, and help manage our video marketing strategy.
- Stay Current: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging video marketing techniques to ensure our content remains fresh, appealing, and relevant.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Film, Video Production, Media Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a videographer, preferably in a construction, home improvement, or related industry.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
- Excellent storytelling abilities and creative vision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with drone videography is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
