Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and drive growth by engaging with inbound leads. In this role, you will play a critical part in qualifying and nurturing leads to ensure they are ready for the next stage in the sales process. You’ll also contribute to enhancing processes and strategies for the inbound function, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage with inbound leads through timely, professional, and personalized communication across various channels (email, calls, LinkedIn).
- Qualify leads based on established criteria and provide comprehensive information to Account Executives for seamless handoffs.
- Research and evaluate prospects to understand their needs, leveraging CRM tools and other resources to identify key decision-makers.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, updates, and progress in Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine lead qualification processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs for qualified lead conversions.
Requirements:
While a degree is preferred, we are excited to learn about your combination of a high school diploma paired with two years of work, military or related experience that drives you to find your next career opportunity!
- 1-3 years of experience in lead generation, inbound prospecting, or business development, preferably in FinTech, SaaS, or B2B environments.
- Proven ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment and deliver on performance goals.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospects.
- Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft 365.
- Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, able to identify new ways to engage and qualify prospects.
- Positive, self-motivated, and resilient in handling challenges and rejection.
- A passion for technology, finance, and entrepreneurship, with a desire to grow into an Account Executive role.
