Role Overview: As the Influencer Marketing Manager you should have a passion for all things trending and popular culture, be extremely organized and be equal parts creative and analytical. you will play a key role in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for the James Michelle E-Commerce business. You'll assist the brand marketing team in carrying out strategies while also managing and optimizing influencer marketing across social media and content collaborations.

You are a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing big-picture goals with hands-on execution. You’re results-focused, with a keen eye on ROI and are dedicated to growing brand loyalty and customer acquisition through influencer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute influencer strategies that support overall business and marketing objectives to drive brand awareness and secure online influencer engagements and impressions.
  • Influencer Research & Onboarding: Prospect/Identify and onboard influencers based on KPI’s and brand alignment.
  • Coordinate content with social influencers for unpaid influencer marketing programs across various channels.
  • Be willing to create content at times to execute a strategy and drive growth.
  • Manage and execute all evergreen and campaign gifting initiatives including, but not limited to, gift ideation, building processes with operation/ecommerce teams, influencer prospecting, outreach, shipping coordination, and campaign performance.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with influencer talent and infrastructure.
  • Effectively take projects from concept to completion using great project management tools and follow through.
  • Develop content ideas, plans to execute them, and collaborate with marketing team to coordinate marketing strategies across various channels.
  • Drive brand awareness via social media.
  • Efficiently organize and manage product orders for influencer and VIP opportunities.
  • Day-to-day management of influencer marketing activities.
  • Contact and build new relationships with influencers and agencies.
  • Own all reporting and analytics related to the Influencer channel and present weekly updates to the marketing team. Assist in analyzing weekly and monthly influencer program performance as it pertains to set KPI's.
  • Oversee and track all expenses related to the influencer program, including costs for gifting, influencer commissions, paid partnerships, and contracts, ensuring transparency and adherence to budget.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of influencer campaigns to ensure they are cost-efficient and delivering optimal ROI. Provide data-driven recommendations on budget allocation based on campaign performance.
  • Be proficient with most commonly used platforms for Influencer Management and recruitment.
  • Work closely with the customer service and social media teams to ensure we are responding to influencer inquiries and getting gifting orders out in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Work with the internal teams to repurpose UGC across channels.
  • Support Content Manager with delivering creative assets for social advertising campaigns.
  • This role is Influencer adjacent and although content creation will be requested at times, the ideal candidate is not wanting to be an actual Influencer.
  • Ideate and then collaborate with the Marketing Team to execute alternative outreach campaigns such as activations or events.
  • Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and industry leaders in social media.

Professional skills, experience and attributes:

  • 3+ years of experience across all social media platforms. Salary DOE
  • Experience working with identifying/prospecting influencers.
  • Experience driving incremental revenue & growth
  • Experience with relevant businesses is a plus
  • Experience with Shopify and/or Shopify Collabs is a plus
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent at working and delivering against deadlines and the ability to work under pressure.
  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience project managing gifting campaigns from start to finish.
  • Experience managing influencer data, outreach, and performance within influencer marketing platforms.
  • Experience with influencer networking and events.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and measure the success of influencer campaigns and their ROI.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing software, Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, social media platforms, Shopify.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and the influencer landscapes within each.
  • Strong creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Strong project + time management skills: ability to juggle priorities and multiple projects at once to meet tight deadlines all while meeting quality standards.
  • Growth mindset, agile, and ready to innovate and work collaboratively with a small startup team.
  • Ability to operate with a high level of discretion.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Prior experience in the fashion, jewelry, or beauty industry is preferred but not required.
