Seeking a creative Influencer Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and optimize influencer marketing campaigns that drive awareness and growth for Obagi's skin care products.

What We Need:
Obagi is seeking a highly motivated and creative Influencer Marketing Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of influencer marketing campaigns. In collaboration with various internal teams, this role will be responsible for identifying, collaborating, and managing relationships with all active Obagi influencers to drive awareness, optimize campaign ROI, and help make better data-driven decisions that ultimately drive engagement and growth.
What You’ll Do:
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement influencer marketing strategies (earned and paid) that align with the company’s marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful, data-driven influencer campaigns.
- Plan and manage influencer activations across all social platforms
- Ensure timely delivery of all influencer deliverables and maintain high standards of campaign execution.
Influencer Identification and Relationship Management:
- Identify, establish, and manage relationships with new and existing influencer partners that resonate with the brand’s voice and target audience.
- Build long-term authentic partnerships with influencers and expand the Obagi community.
- Manage influencer contracts, expectations, and deliverables.
- Negotiate campaign terms, pricing, and contracts with influencers and their representatives.
Campaign Performance and Reporting:
- Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using key metrics (e.g., engagement rates, ROI, brand sentiment).
- Provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders on the effectiveness and impact of influencer partnerships.
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data to maximize results and ROI.
- Partner with the internal performance marketing team to leverage influencer partnerships/content with paid media
Content Strategy and Creation:
- Partner with influencers to ensure content aligns with Obagi’s brand guidelines, messaging, and campaign goals.
- Collaborate with the creative team on content creation and deployment of campaigns with careful emphasis on timeline of new product launches.
- Oversee content approval processes to ensure consistency across influencer-generated content.
Trend Monitoring and Market Research:
- Research and stay up to date with current and emerging trends in the beauty, skin, and health+wellness space across influencer and social platforms.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify new opportunities to enhance and innovate influencer strategy.
- Help identify relevant cultural trends/moments to tap into.
Financial Management:
- Manage influencer marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximum return on investment.
- Ensure timely processing of influencer payments and other financial aspects of campaigns.
What You’ll Need:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Advertising, or Graphic Design or related field.
- Passion for communication and building community.

At least 3-5+ years of experience in social media, influencer, and digital marketing with advanced experience creating and uploading content to major social media platforms like: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc...
- Video/image editing experience a huge plus but not required
- Beauty industry experience preferred
- A creative and curious mindset with a keen eye for detail and analytical savviness.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies (Adobe Suite highly preferred)
- Possess an energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
