The Associate Inside Pharmaceutical Sales Manager will oversee program operations, leading a sales team to achieve client objectives and drive quality improvements within the biopharma sector.

The Associate Inside Pharmaceutical Sales Manager (“AISM”) is a critical member of the IQVIA team. The AISM will be accountable for all aspects of program operations, including direct management and coaching of team members. AISMs are responsible for ensuring the team delivers results that meet or exceed agreed client goals, while fostering a culture that strives for operational and compliance excellence.

- Minimum 2 to 5 years inside sales experience, B2B territory management/account management experience Required
- Experience in supervising/leadership role in related field Required
- Inside pharmaceutical sales experience Required
- Experience with Sales Force Preferred
- Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Proven ability to consistently meet/exceed defined territory sales goals
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Advance listening, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provides day to day supervision of sales/service rep including performance evaluations and management to ensure goals are met and/or exceeded.
- Reports to management on individual/team performance; works with management to develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Coaches team members for success and supports individual development of direct reports.
- Monitors inbound/outbound sales calls to ensure script adherence, call integrity, adverse event compliance, HIPAA compliance and proper phone technique.
- Conducts refresher training and the distribution of project updates; assists with New Hire training and onboarding.
- Ensure all client needs are met with a high degree of quality and compliance to applicable policies and procedures.
- Strategizes and collaborates internally to foster a culture and service of continuous quality improvement, offering creative solutions to client.
- Handles escalated calls from customers, as needed.
- Develops a contingency plan to maintain adequate coverage levels in the event of staff shortages. This may include serving as back up, when needed.
- Develops productivity improvement programs to increase customer reach and other productivity metrics.
- Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports, possible report development and maintenance when necessary.
- Works in concert with both Human Resources department to enforce company policies and procedures.
Remote Working Environment:
As this is a remote position, employees are required to establish an appropriate remote work environment. This means the employee should have a quiet, private, dedicated workspace with few to no interruptions. There may be occasions in the future, depending on the employee’s proximity to the office, where IQVIA may require employee to travel to and from the office for various work-related responsibilities.
Performance and Communication: Employees will be required to maintain an appropriate level of communication and will be subject to regular meetings via various telecommunication devices and methods; familiarity and comfortability in this environment are required.

The potential base pay range for this role is $75,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
