Inside Sales Leader. Player/Coach
At Smart Roofs Solar, our inside sales team is the tip of spear to help drive our success. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Inside Call Sales Manager with outbound sales management experience to help continue our growth. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, the sales processes, excelling at lead generation through their development and implementation ofvarious systems, software, training and recruiting. This person will possess a track record of success in B2B sales management for a minimum of 5 years. 10 years is preferred. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, and motivate sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
Objectives of this Role
- Hire, train, motivate, and coach a team of inside sales representatives
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
- Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
- Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
- Manage lead generation, and build and nurture client relationships
- Database management
- Collaboration with our operations, outside sales, and marketing team
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics to Senior Management.
- Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
- Oversee the inside sales team in real time to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Skills and Qualifications 5 to 10 Years Experience Managing a Inside Sales Team
- Proven track record of success in the sales cycle from plan to close
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Superb leadership ability
