Position Title: Intern Assistant for Sports Management & Marketing

Location: Atlanta, GA

Department: Sports Management / Marketing / Events

Reports To: Owner

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented college students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs to join our team as Intern Assistants in Sports Management & Marketing. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience by working directly with the owner on various projects in sports management, marketing, event planning, and contract management. Ideal candidates will be passionate about sports, eager to learn, and ready to support a range of activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project & Contract Assistance: Assist with the development, review, and management of contracts related to sports events and marketing campaigns, working closely with the owner and other team members.
  • Event Logistics: Help coordinate logistical aspects of sports events, including planning venue setups, managing equipment, and liaising with vendors and suppliers.
  • Marketing & Communications Support: Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies for events, including social media campaigns, promotional materials, and event advertisements.
  • Field Operations: Support in overseeing field operations for events, ensuring that venues are prepared, equipment is functioning, and safety protocols are in place.
  • Player & Staff Support: Provide assistance to athletes, coaches, and event staff with registration, coordination, and on-site logistical support.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact for event-related inquiries and maintain communication with partners, vendors, and sponsors.
  • Administrative Support: Help with day-to-day administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and organizing project materials.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Sports Management, Marketing, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • Must be enrolled in an internship class as part of your academic program.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A passion for sports and a proactive attitude towards learning.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
  • Interest in working directly on contracts, marketing, and sports industry projects.
