Join the 2025 FIS University Summer Internship Program!
As a 2025 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 2, 2025 and conclude on August 8, 2025.
About the role
This role falls within the Digital Sales department. Follow standard practices and procedures with detailed instruction on how to develop new sales and client relationships to meet sales quotas. Ability to use online tools and digital channels like email and social media to pursue sales leads by engaging and connecting with prospective clients. To be able to do some data analysis to run whitespace and increase profitability in territories
About The Team
The Channel Sales organization consists of Reseller and Referral Partnership, Hardware Re-Marketing, Credit Union, and Digital Sales teams. We are a diverse organization focused on optimizing alternative business channels by developing and delivering on sales strategies that yield high growth and help achieve large revenue goals for the broader sales organization.
What You Will Be Doing
- Uses various digital channels and resources to pursue sales leads
- Builds relationships on digital platforms and turns online connections into offline sales conversations
- Develops new business both through new customer acquisition and selling new application/solutions to existing customer accounts.
- Presents, demonstrates and sell products or services to potential buyers
- Negotiates sales terms and all contracts with prospective clients.
- Answers client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
