Intern, Social Media
Job Summary:
ArchWell Health is seeking a Social Media Intern who will work directly with our Content Analyst and the MARCOM team. The ideal candidate will love all things social media and content creation. The Social Media Intern will be an out-of-the-box thinker and "doer" that lives for change but can also follow direction and understand the importance of meeting deadlines, all while flexing their creativity and identifying new content ideas.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content (video and Instagram reels focused)
- Develop and create short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Stories)
- Help create compelling graphics to share across social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads)
- Monitor social media channels for trending topics and relevant discussions
- Assist with responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Research industry-related influencers that ArchWell Health could partner with to extend reach
- Publish content in social media management platform, Sprout Social
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube Stories)
- Strong interest in social media and staying up-to-date with the latest trends
- Good writing and excellent communication skills
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinking for content
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Canva not required but a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
- Available to work on-site in Nashville 12-15 hours per week (flexible with class schedule) on a consistent basis during standard business hours Monday – Friday
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and working towards a bachelor’s degree in digital communications or a related field such as advertising or Journalism
- Experience with social media or content creation
- Excellent internet research skills
