The Internet Marketing Specialist will oversee Amazon webstore operations, focusing on order management, product catalog enhancement, performance optimization, and data analysis to drive sales and improve listing visibility.
Bon Tool Company is a global leader in the manufacturing and warehousing of professional construction tools for the trowel trades. With a firm commitment to provide the best value and the highest standards of workmanship and customer care, the company is looking for an INTERNET MARKETING SPECIALIST. This position will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Amazon webstore operations including day-to-day clerical tasks (order processing, invoicing and ASN management) as well as focusing on enhancing our product catalog and optimizing listings to improve search results and drive sales.
Responsibilities
- Order Processing and Administrative: process and manage customer orders; generate invoices, packing slips and managing shipment ASN; handle and resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Catalog Management: review and maintain product listings; conduct regular audits of product data; manage product variations, keywords and categories
- Optimization and Growth: optimize internet retail platform listings; conduct keyword research; optimize product images; analyze and improve product pricing and promotions; monitor and manage customer reviews and ratings; implement SEO strategies; audit product listings for compliance; stay updated on Amazon algorithms
- Data Analysis and Reporting: track key performance indicators; use data-driven insights to implement improvements to listings and overall store performance
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with marketing / sales teams to ensure alignment on promotions, pricing strategies and branding efforts; coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and inventory management
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central accounts
- Familiarity with Amazon's listing and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in order management systems and invoicing software
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Amazon reports and keyword research tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of eCommerce best practices and a results-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and tools
- Familiarity with SEO principles specific to Amazon
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The Internet Marketing Specialist may be required to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer and other office equipment in an office setting. Some lifting of boxes and other office supplies may be required. This position is a mix of clerical work and creative problem-solving, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about eCommerce growth.
