Internship/Co-Op (Marketing)

OBAYASHI CORPORATION is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team in Foster City. As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various marketing functions, including digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, and market research. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for large-scale construction and engineering projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and management of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (social media, email marketing, website updates).
• Support content creation efforts, including writing, editing, and designing marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, and social media posts.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to help inform marketing strategies.
• Assist in organizing and promoting corporate events, client meetings, and industry conferences.
• Provide administrative support to the business development team as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

HOURLY PAY RANGES:

• $22-$26/ HOUR

The expected pay range for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Obayashi Corporation provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
