QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communication, or business administration; 3-4 years of consumer packaged goods marketing experience, preferably in the Mexican food and/or beverage sectors; bilingual in English/Spanish; strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a self-motivated Brand Manager II to drive brand growth through strategic marketing initiatives in the Hispanic food and beverage market, ensuring brand profitability and effective collaboration with sales and trade marketing teams.
Novamex markets an array of food and beverage brands in a variety of categories. Each brand is a leader in the Hispanic Industry and is well known to our Hispanic shoppers in the U.S. We are currently seeking a Brand Manager ll to join our growing team in the El Paso, TX area.
Summary
Manages marketing of assigned brand portfolio by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Works with Marketing Director to develop strategy and to formulate annual company marketing plans and budgets for assigned brands.
● Writes short and/or long-term business/brand plans identifying objectives, strategies, key initiatives, KPIs through insights collected from situation assessment, research, etc. in order to support brand growth
● Manages marketing implementation for assigned brands and/or projects (activities include, but not limited to): annual brand marketing plans & budgets; market/consumer research, package design, advertising, (creative development, media planning & buying, analytics and optimization), influencer marketing, collaboration and licensing, sales system support, sales forecasting & analysis; trade promotion/merchandising and evaluation; public relations, community events & charities, exploration of new varieties, sizes, line extensions; product quality & improvement
● Coordinates execution of marketing strategy for assigned brands with agencies & suppliers to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
● Communication and coordination of marketing initiatives with sales management and trade marketing team; monthly analysis of sales performance vs. budget; regular meetings w/sales force and visits to retail to gain knowledge.
● Communication across company divisions (sales, trade marketing, purchasing, finance, distribution, MIS) to ensure personnel in all areas aware of and support marketing initiatives.
● Shares responsibility within marketing group for achievement of company sales and profit target.
● Responsible for completion of assigned projects within agreed budget and time parameters.
● Monitors brand P&L and reviews with marketing director each month to ensure brand profitability
● Responsible to deliver sales and profit objectives
● Work with sales to increase product distribution, ACV, Household penetration and buy rate.
● Present DSD distributors marketing plan
● Present company and brands to new DSD in the kickoff meetings
● Work with sales and trade marketing team to execute new product or new line extension introduction
Qualifications
The candidate needs to be self-motivated, organized, and highly productive, creative, analytical and a good storyteller, with the ability to work well on a diverse and highly qualified team in a fast-paced work environment. Be effective in working as a member of a team within the marketing department as well as with trade marketing team and sales personnel by providing leadership on the brand, communicating opportunities, engaging the sales force in the brand manager’s vision and strategies, and working cooperatively with production, accounting, and other areas within Novamex.
Excellent customer service skills, and analytical abilities. Polished verbal and written communication skills in English. Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in advertising, marketing, communication or business administration from four-year college or university. Minimum three to four years consumer package goods marketing experience, ideally in Mexican food and/or beverage products categories. Must have previous brand management experience. Involvement in label design, product development, social and digital media, brand storytelling, collaborations and brand experiential national, consumer promotions and consumer market research required.
Language Ability:
Bilingual English/Spanish required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to communicate clearly via reports, presentations, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers. Overall strong communication and writing skills.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
