SHORT DESCRIPTION
RSVLTS is seeking a Junior Copywriter to create compelling and humorous copy for product descriptions, email campaigns, and digital marketing, focusing on pop culture from the '80s and '90s.
Do you know more about '80s and '90s movies and TV shows than most people know about their own families? Can you debate the best Spider-Man actor, and sprinkle in Star Wars references like a Jedi Master?
If so, we’re looking for you to join our team! RSVLTS is a popular e-commerce brand specializing in pop culture merchandise, and we're on the hunt for a Junior Copywriter to help us craft engaging product descriptions, email campaigns, ad copy, and more.
So, what would your day look like?
- Write compelling, funny, and on-brand copy for websites, email newsletters, blogs, social media posts, digital ads, and other marketing channels.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and PR teams to create content that complements visuals and meets marketing goals.
- Inject your deep knowledge of pop culture (especially from the '80s and '90s) into every piece of content, ensuring it resonates with our audience.
- Translate creative briefs into audience-focused, action-driving content that fits our brand voice.
- Conduct research to keep your content fresh, relevant, and informed by industry trends.
- Proofread and edit your work to ensure it’s error-free and polished before it goes live.
- Maintain consistency in tone and brand voice across all platforms.
What you bring to the table
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of copywriting or content creation experience (internships or freelance work are a plus).
- CA sharp sense of humor with a deep understanding of pop culture like Disney, The Office, Spiderman, Star Wars, and more!
- Experience writing copy for direct-to-consumer brands that drives clicks and conversions.
- A proven portfolio of work showcasing your ability to craft compelling, audience-engaging content.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- A team player who thrives on collaboration and creative brainstorming.
- Commitment to originality: You’ll need to sign an agreement that guarantees no use of ChatGPT or other AI tools for your work.
