Assist in designing advertisements, support the Senior Graphic Designer with visual assets for various marketing channels, collaborate with teams to complete design projects, maintain design databases, and stay updated on design trends.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

Paleovalley seeks a motivated Junior Graphic Designer to create engaging visuals, support marketing initiatives under the guidance of a Senior Graphic Designer, and develop skills in a creative and collaborative environment.

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year

Location: Remote (WFH) with location restrictions within the United States. For tax and compliance purposes, this role is open only to candidates that will work or reside in the following states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY.

Wild Pastures is on a mission to transform the meat industry. We deliver 100% grass fed, pasture-raised, environmentally-regenerative beef, chicken and pork and sustainably caught, wild seafood directly to our customers’ doors. We have incredibly high standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from human-caused chemicals.


The Opportunity

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support our Senior Graphic Designer on a variety of projects while developing your skills in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. The Junior Designer will help bring our brand to life through fresh, engaging visuals across multiple platforms, all while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of a talented senior mentor. Essential Functions

  • Assist in designing compelling advertisements and visuals that align with Paleovalley’s brand and mission
  • Support the Senior Graphic Designer in creating both static and dynamic assets for ad campaigns, social media, email marketing, product labels, and more.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to bring design projects to completion efficiently and effectively.
  • Help maintain and update internal design databases, including organizing photography and video assets.
  • Stay up-to-date on design trends and incorporate them into your work under the guidance of the Senior Designer.


Competencies

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic knowledge of design principles, typography, and layout.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback as part of professional growth.
  • Experience with digital marketing or e-commerce design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with video editing software like Premiere Pro or After Effects is a bonus but not required.


Required Education and Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in design, art, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Up to 1-2 years of experience in a graphic design role or relevant internship experience (including portfolio or sample projects showcasing design capabilities).
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.


Preferred Education & Experience

  • Working knowledge of the following: Premiere Pro and/or After Effects/video editing software preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing or e-commerce design is a plus.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Portfolio or sample projects required.


Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies that weigh up to 20 pounds, and to bend and stand as necessary.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position during regular business hours in the employee’s time zone. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position does not require travel.
