Job Overview

The Junior Talent Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a talent roster of up to 20 individuals. Working closely with a Senior Talent Manager or Lead Talent Manager, this role focuses on scheduling activations, distributing briefing materials, coordinating calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth talent operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about helping talents succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Support & Coordination
    • Assist in managing a roster of up to 20 talents, ensuring each has the resources and information needed for their projects.
    • Schedule activations, events, or collaborations, confirming dates, times, and logistics with both talents and external partners.
    • Distribute briefing materials and relevant documentation to talents, ensuring all parties have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
    • Act as a point of contact for quick queries from talents, relaying questions or updates to senior team members when necessary.
  • Administrative & Organizational Tasks
    • Take comprehensive notes during calls or meetings with talents and senior team members, documenting action items, deadlines, and next steps.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of talent activities, including schedules, deliverables, and important correspondence.
    • Track key project milestones and deadlines, following up with talents and stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
    • Organize digital files and folders for easy access and reference (e.g., contracts, briefs, creative assets).
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with the assigned Senior Talent Manager or Lead Talent Manager to align on priority tasks and deliverables.
    • Communicate any schedule changes, activation updates, or potential issues to internal teams (e.g., Campaigns, Operations) and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Provide clear, concise updates on project status, escalating concerns to the senior manager when needed.
  • Problem-Solving & Support
    • Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or resource gaps, offering solutions to avoid disruptions.
    • Assist in handling last-minute changes to activations or deliverables, coordinating with the team to find quick resolutions.
    • Support talents with any day-to-day questions or concerns, escalating complex issues to senior management.
  • Additional Duties
    • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Senior Talent Manager or Lead Talent Manager, such as researching market trends, compiling talent data, or preparing presentations.
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Perform additional related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience:
    • 1–2 years of experience in administration, customer service, or a related field
    • Experience in talent management, influencer marketing, or entertainment is a plus
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with project management or CRM tools is beneficial.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Keen attention to detail and the capacity to multitask.

Physical Demands

  • Able to sit and/or stand for the duration of the workday
  • Able to use a keyboard, headset, and computer monitor for the workday

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range | $35,000 - $45,000 based on experience
