QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience in developing consumer web and social media content, creative campaign execution, proficiency in marketing applications (Canva, Hootsuite), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Looking for a creative Marketing Intern to support customer acquisition and retention strategies for K12 Tutoring, utilizing state-certified teachers to deliver K-12 tutoring across the U.S.

- Create engaging blog posts using AI-assisted tools to generate content ideas, outlines, and drafts, while ensuring the final product aligns with brand voice
- Assist in development, maintenance, and execution of social media and content strategy aligned with business goals
- Design, plan, manage, and optimize content for digital campaigns across multiple channels such as organic and paid social media, email marketing, affiliate partners, etc.
- Iterate, improve, and diversify current customer acquisition and retention channels
- Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance with granular tracking across relevant metrics, including but not limited to impressions, clicks, site visitors, video views, collateral downloads, leads, and conversions
- Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns to determine their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve results
- Leverage marketing automation where possible to streamline tasks and workflows
- Organize and maintain detailed schedule of campaign timing and execution for projects
- Gain a deep understanding of our customers’ needs, our products, and the full customer journey
- Coordinate flexibly with colleagues across multiple teams atK12 Tutoring to accomplish goals
- Other duties as assigned
- Two (2) years’ experience developing well-written, innovative consumer web and social media content OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in the development and execution of creative campaigns to drive customer acquisition or retention across multiple channels
- Experience with marketing applications such as Canva, Jasper, Hootsuite, and other creative content development and publishing platforms
- Ability to effectively utilize a content management system, such as Adobe Experience Manager
- Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance in systems such as Google Analytics
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding strategic thinking, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills
- Enjoys working with a lean, dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities to deliver and drive results
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- A good communicator who sets the right expectations and follows through on their commitments
- Strong collaboration skills when working cross-functionally
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) proficiency
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (travel will be minimal, if any — e.g., team-building events)
- Ability to clear required background check
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university
- Content development experience
- Social media campaign experience
- This position is virtual and open to residents of the 50 states and D.C.
- We anticipate this position will pay $13.06 - $25.97 per hour. This is a temporary/Internship role. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
