Our platform provides OEM’s (original Manufacturer), Distributors, Commercial Resellers, and Retailers valuable insights into customer preferences and buying behavior, while also enabling users to curate, share, and interact with product information from various webpages, mobile apps and eCommerce shops. As we expand our U.S. operations, we are seeking a dynamic Account Executive/Account Manager to join our growing team in Tampa Bay, FL.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive/Account Manager with at least 5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in the software or tech solutions space. This role will be responsible for managing relationships with enterprise customers, particularly in the tech and electronics sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience working with OEMs (e.g., HP, Microsoft, Apple, Dell, Lenovo) and/or Distributors, Resellers and Retailers in the tech/electronics industry.

This position requires someone who is a self-starter with the potential to grow into a sales leadership role as the team expands. The candidate will be responsible for driving the full sales cycle—from initial prospecting and relationship-building to closing deals and managing ongoing customer relationships. You’ll also provide key product feedback to help improve our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with large enterprise customers, particularly in the tech and electronics industries.
  • Own the full sales cycle: from initial outreach and prospecting to closing deals and managing accounts.
  • Collaborate with key decision makers and build long-term partnerships with OEMs, Distributors, Resellers and Retailers.
  • Provide product feedback to help improve plugilo’s product based on partner/customer input.
  • Develop internal reporting systems and manage CRM tools to track progress and sales data.
  • Generate and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer support) to enhance the customer experience.
  • Travel as needed (<25%) for customer meetings, trade shows, and events.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally selling hardware/software/tech solutions.
  • Experience managing relationships with large enterprise customers, preferably in the tech/electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with Tech/Electronics OEMs and/or Distributors, Resellers and Retailers is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to take prospective enterprise clients from initial discussions through long sales cycles to closing deals.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to collaborate with decision-makers at all levels.
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop sales processes and systems within a growing team.
  • Strong CRM experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience developing internal systems and reporting.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Willingness to travel for business (less than 25%).
