Seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst to support land acquisition and planning initiatives through market analysis, financial reporting, and feasibility documentation in Vancouver, WA.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Land Acquisition Analyst to join the Vancouver team. In this position, you'll support land acquisition and planning initiatives by conducting market analysis, compiling financial reports, researching specific deals, and aiding in the development of feasibility documentation and corporate approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update land pipeline reports for various counties or hubs in the region.
- Develop a deep understanding of the local market, including competitors, housing types and sizes, pricing, and sales absorption rates.
- Assess land deals and work with management to determine optimal pricing, product types, pricing strategies, and deal structures for maximum profitability.
- Support the underwriting process for land acquisitions by preparing competitive market analysis studies and financial reports, including pro forma assumptions, profit and loss statements, cash flows, balance sheets, and ROI analyses.
- Assist senior management in creating feasibility documentation, which includes executive summaries, marketing summaries, area maps, aerial photos, competitive market analyses, demographic data, financial narratives, pricing pro formas, community P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the team to prepare monthly closing approvals and wire requests.
- Organize files and maintain systems within the land department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in land acquisitions or a related real estate field.
- High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and auto insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Financial Management Systems; familiarity with MLS data is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the housing market, trends, and analysis.
- Strong research skills and the ability to compile information from various sources efficiently.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing projects, and adapting to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
