Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision is recruiting for a Lead Finance Analyst, JJSV US Commercial, who will support the Surgical Vision business in the United States. This position can be located in either Irvine, Ca or Jacksonville, FL.

This role is a commercial finance role where the individual will be reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager and will be partnering with cross functional teams specifically sales, marketing and operations. The role involves application of business acumen, analytical skills as well as financial knowledge driven by passion to reach more patients through our innovative products. The role would be the lead finance partner for various functional heads to drive efficient investment planning and will have a dotted line support of a Finance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, SOX compliance activities pertaining to OCNIS, OpEx and associated B/S processes, financial reporting, variance analysis, commentary, and latest thinking
  • Lead the development of the Commercial annual budget and forecasts; Collaborate with the Commercial Leaders to ensure each OCNIS/OPEX budget is managed in line with expectations, inclusive of Brand Marketing Expenses, Selling Marketing and Administrative, and Professional Education budgets
  • Partner closely with the Director of Tech Service towards continuous improvement of Service Profitability
  • Partner with FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders to follow up on required budget and forecast deliverables
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to enhance and upgrade business analytics and reporting
  • Lead special projects to improve process efficiency and business performance


Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • A minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or relevant leadership experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, macros, and v-lookups)
  • Knowledge on Analysis for Office (AFO), CFIN and SAP an advantage
  • Strong accounting skills and understanding of accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, plus demonstrates drive and a willingness to take ownership for tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics, respect, team building, and cultural sensitivity and awareness
  • This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL or Irvine, CA and may require up to 10% travel.

Preferred:

  • Accounting designation (i.e., CPA, CMA, CGA or CA), MBA or other financial certifications are preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Tableau
  • Effective communication, collaboration and influencing skills

The base pay range for this position is $88,000 - $142,600

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
