Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in lead development and lead demand management to join our team as a Lead Development Manager. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of wider department goals, cross-functional impacts, and the company's operational landscape. The ideal candidate will actively seek diverse perspectives for continuous learning, feedback, and growth, conduct retrospectives for improvement, and share insights for broader functional enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management Strategy
- Develop and implement sophisticated lead management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scoring criteria, align on lead distribution, and ensure lead scores match sales-ready criteria in global markets.
- Lead Optimization and Qualification Process
- Identify opportunities to improve lead quality and quantity, showcasing strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts through creative concepts and data-driven insights.
- Lead Qualification and Distribution
- Design, test, and implement advanced lead qualification, scoring, and distribution processes.
- Lead segmentation and nurturing-use scoring data to effectively segment leads and work with Marketing to develop tailored nurturing strategies for high-potential leads.
- Exercise discretionary judgment in determining methods to resolve complex issues related to lead flow optimization.
- Analytics and Reporting
- Establish comprehensive processes for tracking and reporting lead flow metrics. Make data-driven recommendations to improve campaigns.
- Generate and deliver insightful reports and dashboards within Salesforce to visualize key metrics and track campaign performance in real-time.
- Present findings and refine strategy to internal stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to analyze complex situations and data.
- Salesforce CRM and Marketing Automation Management
- Utilize Salesforce.com CRM to track and measure campaign performance at every stage of the funnel.
- Leverage Marketingfor campaign creation, automation, lead nurturing, and reporting.
- Process Optimization
- Continuously develop and refine lead qualification processes, implementing creative solutions to streamline operations and improve effectiveness.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment in lead management processes, lead handoff, and to gather feedback on lead quality and campaign performance.
- Build productive and stable working relationships with internal functional teams and relevant cross-functional stakeholders autonomously.

- Provide ongoing training and support to team members on lead generation best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in lead management, demand generation, or related roles.
- Adobe Certified Marketo Expert with extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM, and lead management best practices.
- Proven track record in lead scoring, nurturing methodologies, and conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales best practices, including inbound marketing and customer lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience in business development roles within a consumer-focused industry.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
