SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking a dedicated individual to enhance community marketing and leasing efforts, ensuring resident satisfaction and retention while performing clerical tasks in a residential rental office.

  • We are looking to add a friendly hard working individual to our team.This position is responsible for coordinating the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.
  • Designs and executes marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community, including implementing resident referral and employer outreach programs, using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e-mail, and other websites), and following other community-specific marketing plans, drives, and special programs.
  • Accurately prepare and be thoroughly knowledgeable with all lease-related paperwork, from the application process through move out. This includes processing housing applications, preparing move in information, lease files, renewal letters and renewal leases, completing brochures, completing move out requests, and any other forms utilized as they relate to leasing and resident relations.
  • In addition to sales and marketing duties, lease consultants also assist existing tenants with maintenance requests and customer service needs. They typically work in rental offices of apartment complexes and residential communities, often on weekends.
  • Due to the Community staffing limitations, it is extremely critical that individuals be able to work their scheduled hours on a consistent basis.
  • General clerical assistance including but not limited to answering phones, taking messages, managing the facilities/work orders in the property management software, filing, decorating the office for holidays, and ordering office supplies.

  • Must possess attention to detail
  • Team oriented with ability to work independently on occasion
  • Computer skills, Microsoft word, and knowledge of Internet, Email and Social Media as it pertains to marketing of community
  • Verbal, math and reasoning skills
  • Employee must maintain reliable transportation daily, valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20 per hour Plus Commissions

Days:

Monday Through Friday 9:00-6:00 with a 1 hour break each day
