**Job Summary:**

Stoneridge Management Partners, Inc. is seeking an organized and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring our properties are successfully leased while maintaining excellent relationships with tenants. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for marketing properties, guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, and tracking key leasing performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing and Marketing

  • Market available properties through online listings, social media, and community outreach efforts.
  • Conduct property tours and provide detailed information to prospective tenants.
  • Assist prospective tenants with the leasing application process, including explaining rental terms and answering questions about the property and community.
  • Stay informed about current market conditions, competitive offerings, and industry trends.Tenant Relations:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current tenants, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Process lease agreements, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to address tenant requests and property issues promptly.
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Track and monitor leasing performance metrics, including guest cards, showings, response times, applications, and other key stats for all properties and property managers.
  • Prepare regular reports on leasing activity, occupancy rates, and performance against goals.
  • Use data insights to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance leasing performance.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for leases, renewals, and tenant communications.
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and company policies throughout the leasing process.
  • Manage tenant records using property management software and update property availability as needed.
  • Financial Responsibilities:
  • Assist with collecting and processing rental payments, deposits, and other fees.
  • Provide clear and accurate information to prospective tenants regarding rent, deposits, utilities, and other relevant costs.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports on leasing activity, occupancy, and revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to track and analyze data to drive leasing performance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
