LOCATION
Remote and may transition to hybrid (in-office once or twice per week) based in Orland Park.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, 2-3 years in a client services or legal support role, knowledge of Estate Planning and Real Estate law, proficiency in Clio and Microsoft Office, experience with Canva and social media platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage client intake, schedule consultations, maintain client files, draft estate planning and real estate documents, liaise with lenders, provide administrative support, and assist with social media and event marketing.

Seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Client Services professional to support clients in Estate Planning and Real Estate, ensuring efficient communication and document management.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Client Services professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal processes, particularly in Estate Planning and Real Estate, and will be proficient in various legal software tools.
Responsibilities
- Receiving initial intake calls by estate planning clients and scheduling consultations and later signing appointments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for estate planning clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on case progress.
- Opening Estate planning files and transferring information from client completed questionnaires into the file.
- Assist with drafting estate planning documents.
- Assist with ordering surveys and HOA docs for real estate transactions
- Assist with drafting real estate closing documents.
- Main point of contact between lenders on real estate transactions to follow-up on deadlines.
- Serve as the initial point of contact on real estate transactions and getting the file set up.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word and Clio Legal software.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
- Social media and event marketing manager. In charge of creating content for event advertising and creating post, blogs and news letters from the information you will be provided to to so.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field for minimum of 2-3 years referred.
- Knowledge of Estate Planning and Real Estate law is a must.
- Familiarity with Clio document management system, and Microsoft Office programs is a plus. Must also have experience with Canva, or other marketing flyer platforms and strong knowledge of youtube, instagram, facebook and technoloy use to be ale to post and create content.
- Strong communication skills. Must have a friendly voice and able to speak with many different types of people.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Previous experience in a client services and legal support role is advantageous.
HOURS
****Please note this job will begin 100% remote in January 2025, but this may eventually end up being a hybrid position where you would be in the office once or twice per week. We are currently staffing part-time, but will likely be full-time by mid 2025.
We are searching for about 10-15 hours/ week and will likely be 20 hours by spring. Hoping to have you full-time by summer or fall, but no guarantees. If you only want part-time we can always hire another part-time person later.

This is an hourly position and no benefits at this time. Must have your own PC. Must be close enough to commute to Orland Park.
