Position Overview

The Legal Sales/Intake Manager is responsible for leading the firm's client acquisition efforts and managing the intake process, ensuring maximum conversion of prospects into retained clients while maintaining high standards of client service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Drive new client acquisition through both inbound and outbound sales strategies
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets
  • Manage and optimize the full sales pipeline from lead generation to client retention
  • Conduct initial client consultations and qualify potential cases
  • Create compelling proposals and fee agreements

Intake Process Management

  • Oversee the entire client intake/sales process
  • Implement and maintain an efficient intake system that maximizes conversion rates
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all client information and case details
  • Coordinate with legal teams to properly evaluate and assign cases
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical requirements during intake process

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of intake specialists and sales personnel
  • Set individual and team performance goals
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback
  • Implement best practices for client communication and follow-up
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
    • Lead conversion rates
    • Average case value
    • Response time metrics
    • Client acquisition costs
    • Revenue per client
    • Sales pipeline velocity
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to management
  • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement

Required Qualifications
