The Affiliate Channel Manager II will drive day-to-day execution, targeting, budgeting and optimization of the LightStream Affiliate Marketing program, an important source of loan acquisition for the company. This person will also support the Affiliate Channel Manager on broader program management and larger projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct affiliate onboarding, including: Review affiliate applications to determine compliance and fit with the affiliate program, Approve new affiliates and helping them get set up, and Identify opportunities and implement improvements for onboarding optimization
  • Drive creation of new affiliate marketing materials through collaboration with creative and compliance teams
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Regular analytics & reporting of acquisition metrics (impressions, click through rate, conversion rates, and costs, etc.)
  • Answer affiliate questions via telephone inquiries and email
  • Conduct monthly affiliate payout (“make goods”) reporting
  • Identify program risks through use of a robust monitoring plan/procedure
  • Work with Governance team and manage in-house tools for satisfactory compliance procedures
  • Stay updated on Affiliate Industry trends and developments
  • Monitor and report on competitors’ affiliate campaigns and promotions
  • Review affiliate websites to look for opportunities for growth
  • Maintain highly organized records

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must demonstrate strong verbal, interpersonal, and email communications skills
  • Must be able to work in a multi-discipline, collaborative environment
  • Have superior attention to detail and comfortable with technical subject matter (HTML familiarity a plus)
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Be comfortable with common marketing metrics and analysis (ROI, CPA, CTR, etc.)
  • Internet savvy (knowledgeable of the current online landscape and skilled in search and evaluating websites)
  • 1-2 years’ experience and/or knowledge of digital marketing activities and ad platforms (SEO, SEM, PPC, etc.)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with affiliate program marketing/execution
  • Background with account management or customer service preferred (specific affiliate marketing or affiliate management experience a plus)

Mental: Able to focus, interpret information logically to solve problems, and answer customers’ questions appropriately.
Availability: Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
Travel: Minimal and up to 10%
Physical Conditions / Environment: Normal office environment where there is little or no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.
