THE JOB
We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to oversee all business operations for our
House of Blues and Brooklyn Bowl venues. This role will ensure that all venues operate within
Live Nation standards, policies, and procedures while delivering outstanding experiences for
fans and artists. Reporting to senior leadership and managing a team of General Managers, this
role is pivotal in driving the company’s success.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors.
- Identify and maximize revenue drivers while optimizing the overall guest and artist experience.
- Develop strategic venue plans aligned with divisional and corporate budget goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Premium Seat Sales, Food and Beverage, Ancillary Product, Sponsorship and Business Development to create innovative offerings that drive revenue growth and fan engagement.
- Manage expenses to maximize profits while protecting guest and artist experiences.
- Provide leadership for General Managers in multi-unit, multi-state environments.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, profitability analysis, and forecasting in tools like ROME and Tableau.
- Monitor and review General Manager performance, fostering career development opportunities.
- Work closely with civic and governmental departments and foster community engagement.
- Spend time onsite at venues during events to ensure successful operations from load-in to load-out.
- Support tour security requirements and ensure compliance with corporate audit procedures.
- Work closely with joint venture partners to ensure seamless collaboration with those who have equity interests in certain parts of the business, fostering mutual success and alignment of goals.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a General Manager or Regional Manager of multiple properties in a hospitality or event management business.
- Extensive background in event management, sales, and promotion.
- Proven experience managing a team of leaders in a multi-unit environment.
- Expertise in profitability analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle immediate and long-term challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and tools like ROME and Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate respectfully across all levels of business.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required.
- Travel requirements: up to 50% of the time.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$216,000.00 USD - $271,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
