THE JOB

The Communications Manager will support the development and execution of innovative communications strategies that strengthen the Live Nation Media & Sponsorship division’s reputation and narrative. This role will focus on crafting and amplifying compelling storytelling across social media, our company’s publication, external media, newsletters and events. The successful candidate will develop communication initiatives, measure the impact of communication strategies, manage internal communications, and deliver content that amplifies where live music meets brand marketing.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Strategic Storyteller: Create compelling communications materials across owned and earned communications channels to support our divisions’ narratives and partner storytelling, including content like company-wide emails, newsletters, press releases, blogs, press pitches, and more. Highlight the value of a partnership with Live Nation and amplify the success of new and existing partnerships.

  • Multimedia Maven: Story tell through high-impact multimedia content like newsletters, articles, videos, and visuals. Demonstrated experience in audio and video editing, along with proficiency in design tools like Canva, is required.

  • Social Media Strategist: Develop, post, and monitor engaging social media content across platforms, primarily focusing on LinkedIn and Instagram. Design and execute paid content amplification strategies to expand reach and impact.

  • Reporting Rockstar: Monitor media coverage, draft insightful social media reports, and analyze metrics using Google Analytics and Mailchimp. Leverage insights from the data to create weekly reports to help refine our communications strategies and enhance our impact.

  • Cross-Team Collaborator: Work closely with the communications team and global colleagues to uncover compelling stories that align with Live Nation Media & Sponsorship’s broader communication goals, driving meaningful engagement across audiences and stakeholders.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, digital media, public relations, marketing, or writing is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an agency or in-house communications setting, with emphasis on digital and multimedia communications strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex information and present it concisely and conversationally.

  • Skilled at creating visual and written content for various platforms and formats.

  • Proven experience in delivering results with impact across a dynamic ecosystem of communications channels.

  • A passion for creating highly visual multimedia communications strategies with experience in audio and video editing and using design applications like Canva or Adobe.

  • Working knowledge of Google Drive applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

  • Positive attitude and high value for collaboration and teamwork.

  • A passion for the intersection of live entertainment and music culture with marketing and brand storytelling.

  • Must love live music.
