THE JOB
Live Nation’s in-house Experiential & Events team (LNEx) uses their unrivaled expertise in translating brand business objectives into actionable fan experiences across Live Nation properties from festivals to custom events to global hospitality to venues. LNEx is a full-service solution in concepting, designing, building, and executing bespoke experiences that seamlessly integrate brands into the Live Nation ecosystem. The LNEx team is the get stuff done, turn-problems-into-solutions, make our clients look like the rock stars, driving force within the Live Nation Media & Sponsorship division. The LNEx Director of Team Operations is a critical role that reports into the SVP and works closely with team leads. This position is responsible for the effectiveness and rhythm of the LNEx team business, including setting up key processes and metrics and enhancing our culture and organizational health. The LNEx Team Director will provide insight and advice to the SVP around operational excellence, resources and planning, and participate in overall team strategy/growth.
The Team Director will play a key role in keeping LNEx on top of their game. They will be directly involved in ensuring the LNEx team maintains itself as a world class organization, and delivers extraordinary service and value to clients and internal stakeholders.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Manage LNEx team operations, overseeing key team processes and communication, optimizing for agility and impact.
Maintain key internal relationships within and outside of department, particularly Legal, Finance, identifying and implementing best practices to work across teams.
Manage team that oversees LNEx staff hiring, payroll, expenses, and vendor contracts.
Track financial reporting, KPIs, and budget reports, surfacing trends and sharing key data.
Plan and strategize team meetings and events, including bi-weekly team calls and bi-annual in-person offsites.
Explore and implement ways for department to innovate and raise industry profile- emerging technology, marketing trends, conference presence, award submissions, trainings, etc.
Work with internal Safety & Security teams to ensure participation in corporate safety training and communication, as well as manage team trainings (including OSHA, HEQ, First Aid etc).
Maintain internal and external assets, including storage inventory, project calendar, key document libraries, decks, website, and social media.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
5-7+ years direct experience in department operations, program management, client service
Must have worked in experiential or live event space
Direct knowledge of experiential programs with production and marketing extensions
Ability to work with and manage a hybrid, remote and cross-functional team
BA Degree required
Superior project and time management skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously
Effective at driving complex multi-stakeholder process and cross-team programs
Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to proactively identify potential problems and utilize sound decision making to implement the best solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Airtable, Asana, etc.
Record of successfully deploying and managing planning and Airtable systems is a plus
