QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in maintenance or custom machine assembly is preferred; skills in welding, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, metal fabrication, machine operation, hydraulics, and pneumatics are advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and a tape measure is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble machines by interpreting blueprint packets and bills of materials while applying maintenance skills. Adapt to various roles as needed in the assembly process.

Job Summary:

Surface Combustion is a world leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing of rugged and reliable thermal processing systems. These are custom systems, assembled by hand and in the U.S. Although the position is not a typical maintenance position, those working in the maintenance or custom machine assembly fields are encouraged to apply. You will apply your maintenance skills in the custom assembly of our equipment.

Skills:

Able to accurately read a tape measure
Operate basic hand tools
Ability to read, write and understand instructions, procedures, drawings and blueprints
