Must have a full understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic plant equipment.

Coordinate activities of maintenance mechanics, troubleshoot and minimize equipment downtime, ensure adherence to safety practices, manage preventative maintenance systems, oversee budgeting for spare parts, implement Quality Programs, and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the maintenance department.

Your Role at KIK
The Maintenance Supervisor is within our Household division and is responsible for the overall coordination activities of maintenance mechanics in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery equipment and ensures that production requests are met promptly and ensures all equipment are operating in a safe working order.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills to minimize equipment downtime
- Lead team to adhere to company and OSHA safety practices
- Implement and comply with all company Safety Programs
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and execute multiple tasks, in a fast-paced environment
- Establish and manage preventative / predictive maintenance systems to improve equipment uptime. Utilize data to establish long term and short-term equipment overhauls and upgrades
- Ability to build a strong team, including performing skill assessments and developing training plans for technicians
- Order and maintain adequate spare parts within budgetary guidelines
- Design and implement process and equipment improvements
- Coordinate outside contracting with in house projects as necessary
- Establish and maintain acceptable cleanliness and organizational standards in the maintenance department; experience implementing 5S concepts a plus
- Design and implement process and equipment improvements
- Implement and comply with all Quality Programs in order to insure customer satisfaction and third-party audits
- Make sure that we have the necessary tools to do anything that may come up throughout the facility.
- Make sure all new projects are complete and on time to reduce as much down time as possible.
- Keep Management informed of what the plans are for the projects that are upcoming.
- Ensures that proper levels of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health & Safety, housekeeping, and quality are maintained at all times.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Maintenance Technology and/or 5 years relevant supervisory experience in manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, union employees, and contractors.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to make critical decisions and lead people during emergency situations.
- Strong attention to details.
- CMMS experience necessary
- Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to effectively manage complexity and work within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, investigation, problem solving, communication skills and be a team player.
- Must have a full understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic plant equipment including PLC programming.
- Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. Be able to interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge dealing with personnel issues as they arise.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and make quick decisions as necessary to accomplish production goals and standards.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $80K – 90K plus eligibility for a quarterly incentive bonus. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location
