As Egnyte continues to grow and increases focus on driving new customer acquisitions with Mid-Market and Enterprise companies, we will look to the Business Development Manager to build, develop, and continue to lead a team of Business Development Reps. This group will be responsible for increasing the number of quality opportunities for our growing field sales team. The leader of this team should be very well versed in understanding how to train and develop, not just manage performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead with Impact: Manage and inspire a dedicated team of
    inbound business development reps, setting ambitious goals
    and nurturing their growth.
  • Strategize for Success: Design and implement innovative
    inbound lead generation strategies to attract and engage
    high-potential leads.
  • Optimize Performance: Use data-driven insights to refine our
    approach and maximize lead conversion rates.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work cross-functionally with
    Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to align our strategies
    and amplify results.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep a pulse on industry trends and
    best practices to ensure our lead-gen approach remains
    cutting-edge.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven Leadership: You have experience managing and
    motivating a lead generation or marketing team, with a track
    record of hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Inbound Expertise: You bring deep knowledge of inbound
    strategies and tools (SFDC, Marketo, Drift, or similar), and
    you're ready to innovate.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: You know your way around analytics
    and KPIs, always looking for ways to optimize and improve.
  • Creative Thinker: You love to brainstorm new ideas, take
    calculated risks, and see the big picture.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+years demonstrated success managing sales development and/or lead generation teams
  • Technical Sales experience. SaaS/Cloud experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating, implementing and reporting metrics
  • Knowledge of 3rd party lead development resources
  • Strong understanding of sales process and sales pipeline management
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
