Manager - Business Development
LOCATION
Bethlehem, PA (with some travel required)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of sales experience or 2 years of business development leadership, self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, experienced with CRM systems and sales enablement tools, IT savvy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), provide ongoing training and coaching, analyze and improve operational processes, collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams, utilize A/B testing for optimization, and communicate insights and updates to stakeholders.

Oversee and develop a team of BDRs to qualify leads and uncover sales opportunities, enhance team skills, and implement operational improvements in a dynamic IT solutions environment.
This position is required to report to the Bethlehem, PA office, with some travel required.

- Onboard new BDRs and provide ongoing training to ensure team members have the skills to succeed.
- Spend significant time coaching and mentoring BDRs, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Gain industry knowledge through product and technology training
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and refine inbound and outbound BDR sequences, including task types, cadence, and key messaging.
- Use A/B testing to optimize BDR approaches and sequences, leveraging analytics to establish best practices.
- Analyze current operational processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Implement changes and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in BDR operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of business development strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting insights and updates on BDR performance and strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of sales or 2 years of business development leadership
- Self-motivated
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
- IT Savvy
- Ability to deliver world-class support
- Ability to travel at least once a quarter (sales kick-offs, Austin team connects, events, internal meetings)
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
