SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Manager, eCommerce & Artist Services will support UMG Nashville by managing eCommerce processes and providing exceptional service for client stores, facilitating marketing campaigns, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.

Which Bandmember are You?

Fame House, UMG’s US eCommerce team, is looking for a Manager, eCommerce & Artist Services, sitting in a cross-functional team dedicated to supporting UMG Nashville. This role will provide best-in-class service for the label superstore and select artist stores, with the primary responsibility of project managing the end-to-end eCommerce process including store planning, product launches, and coordination with internal departments and stakeholders.

How You'll Rock the Role

  • Liaison between UMGN and the internal Fame House teams to execute tasks for our client's online stores. Examples include but are not limited to funneling all production, marketing and creative requests to Fame House CFT’s.
  • Project Manage follow-throughs and logistics for any approved and active campaigns
  • Facilitate store planning, release and program management across our partners’ eCommerce rights, working in close collaboration with merchandise rights owners (ROs) to integrate eCommerce into always-on artist planning.
  • Ensure all internal stakeholders are aware of incoming eCommerce drops or promotions, as well as specific client requirements/needs for each initiative.
  • Work with the client to make sure we receive all of the info needed to execute marketing and creative (product sheet, pricing, descriptions, context to the drop, creative guidelines, etc.).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to client relationships and work with internal teams to execute against them (e.g.marketing campaign proposals, insights reporting, etc.).
  • Manage workflow against client SOW, as well as standard turnaround times for requests.
  • Work to identify client needs that will involve an exception to our standard turnaround times; coordinate internally to ensure we are able to deliver against client needs appropriately.
  • Track resourcing against client priorities, ensuring both internal and client alignment on how resources are
  • Report on drop alerts, sales recaps, and marketing data to all relevant parties (label, manager etc) around high-profile program activity.
  • Keep abreast of evolving music industry, eCommerce, and digital marketing trends and technologies
  • Knowledge of country music landscape

What We're Looking For

  • 3-4+ years of relevant internship or full-time work experience, preferably in music & entertainment or eCommerce
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow through
  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight schedules while maintaining production of high quality work
  • Pro-active is your middle name. Excellent at providing information to team members before they even get the chance to ask you for what they need.
  • Self-accountability to follow-through with proper consistent updates to stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Zoom, Slack, and Google docs
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Experience with Shopify preferred
  • Experience using Monday.com is a major plus
  • Strong interest in learning more about eCommerce Operations and eCommerce Marketing
  • BA degree in related field preferred


This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $30.44/hour - $40.59/hour
