The Manager of eCommerce Strategy at Otter Products will lead a team to enhance the brand's direct-to-consumer website, utilizing digital marketing tactics to drive revenue and improve customer satisfaction.

Overview:
Otter Products is hiring for a Manager of eCommerce Strategy to join our eCommerce team! This role can be based in Fort Collins, CO on a hybrid schedule or fully remote in the US.

The Manager, eCommerce Strategy, leads a team of eCommerce and merchandising professionals responsible for optimizing our brand's direct-to-consumer website. Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, this role works closely with design, digital services, and marketing teams to improve the online consumer journey. This role manages the execution of strategic plans, applying broad knowledge of digital marketing tactics (e.g., paid search, email, social media) to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction by utilizing Salesforce Commerce Cloud, A/B testing, and analytics to implement effective site improvements. The Manager, eCommerce Strategy is responsible for providing mentoring and coaching for their direct reports in support of their professional development while ensuring work is performed within established processes and policies.

To succeed in this role, strong data-driven insights and collaboration with Brand Marketing, IT, Customer Service, and Product teams are essential, along with the ability to identify site enhancements that boost user experience and conversion rates. This is a people leader role.

  • Drive achievement of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) revenue goals and oversee optimization of customer experience metrics.
  • Align strategic priorities across Brand Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Sales, Operations, and Product teams to support overarching eCommerce objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of eCommerce solutions that enhance online transactions and support a cohesive digital strategy.
  • Utilize segmentation data to inform strategies that effectively engage key customer groups.
  • Analyze insights and website analytics to guide data-driven decisions that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate on the website content strategy and online marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with overall goals.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all digital content and messaging.
  • Identify and recommend site optimization initiatives aimed at improving key performance indicators, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of templates, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency.
  • Advocate for the value of eCommerce as a critical channel for sales growth and brand development throughout the organization.
  • Support initiatives for expansion into new product categories, customer segments, and international markets.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Website Design or related field preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may considered.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in marketing, merchandising, web development, and/or digital marketing is required.
  • Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
  • Advanced skills in an eCommerce platform is required, Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred.
