Day to Day

You are a manager on the Go-to-Market Commercial (GTM:C) team at Indeed, responsible for assisting our Sponsored Jobs business. You will reinforce a culture of inclusivity in all aspects, emphasizing diverse perspectives in strategy development and decision-making. The team you manage will be aligned to our Monetization Experience & Value Delivery teams which form the core engine driving most of Indeed’s global revenue. You will partner with R&D product teams to ensure that our product strategy aligns with our clients’ and business interests, guiding your team to execute product launches through world-class go-to-market efforts.

You and your team will be evaluated on your ability to drive business impact, such as product adoption, revenue growth, and value creation for our clients and business. To be successful, you will need to operationalize a cohesive vision for the Sponsored Jobs business and rally cross-functional teams to bring that vision to life. You will need to be skilled in influencing and inspiring others to take action. You set the standard and are involved when solving complex challenges facing our business. Your ability to drive decision-making through trust, engagement, transparent communication, and technical expertise should be exceptional. You are a strategic leader who leverages data, navigates ambiguity effectively, and identifies opportunities to move forward proactively.

It is crucial that you cultivate and foster a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and innovation by creating equitable opportunities for team members, prioritizing the development of their skills through mentorship and coaching, and fostering psychological safety to ensure all team members can thrive and contribute. Your team consists of experienced strategists and product marketers who prioritize analytics, creativity, and high-quality execution. As a leader, you will work with teams from across the business, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Strategy, Sales, and Client Success. You will emphasize inclusivity, equitable opportunities, and psychological safety to ensure all team members can thrive and contribute.

Responsibilities

Steer a team of 4 to 6 strategists and product marketers dedicated to assisting Indeed’s Sponsored Jobs business, setting actionable goals & priorities
Drive end-to-end go-to-market strategies for Monetization experience, including the launch of new packages and adoption initiatives, to accelerate revenue growth and achieve other business priorities
Influence product teams by promoting the voice of the customer and ensuring that we build the right solutions for both our clients and our business
Foster sound cross-functional collaboration to launch and drive the adoption of new features or initiatives, ensuring equitable participation and voice for all team members
Identify key challenges facing our business, manage efforts to address them effectively, and drive clarity in decision-making
Foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, promotes partnerships, innovation, and psychological safety, and ensures that all team members be empowered and supported to contribute
Set high standards for quality of go-to-market execution across the organization, develop others to achieve those standards, and create opportunities for team members to grow through challenging projects and professional development

Skills/Competencies

7+ years experience in Product Strategy, Product Marketing, Management Consulting, or Business Operations
4+ years leading teams with demonstrated leadership skills and people management experience
Expert-level understanding of Indeed’s product ecosystem and Indeed’s Sponsored Jobs business
Effective Communication: Caring, organized, and tailored communication across different audience levels, from team members to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and fostering understanding. Builds strategic relationships to influence without authority, leverages data to influence recommendations, and aligns initiatives with broader business goals
Analytical Mindset: Proven experience in data-driven decision-making, identifying trends, validating hypotheses, and providing strategic insights to inform overall direction. Capable strategic thinker with exceptional analytic experience, including IQL and/or SQL
Cross-functional partnerships: Builds trust-based relationships across teams, fosters an inclusive environment, drives accountability to achieve mutual business goals, and ensures equitable participation and voice for all team members, emphasizing the importance of diverse perspectives

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 123,000 - 185,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
