Manager In Training Fitness And Membership Sales
LOCATION
Various Villa Sport locations across California, Texas, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred college degree or equivalent experience, strong customer service and leadership skills, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with previous experience in a sales or service-based role and ability to travel as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the Manager-in-Training Program to gain experience in membership and fitness sales operations, including sales and marketing, CRM management, KPI tracking, reporting, and club outreach, while temporarily covering management vacancies across locations.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Villa Sport Manager-in-Training Program offers participants a unique opportunity to gain cross-department management and leadership experience in preparation for future advancement in the membership sales or fitness department in a club. Managers-in-Training (MITs) will learn (through mentoring, live and virtual training, special assignments and projects, and on-the-job practice and experience) all facets of club membership sales and fitness sales operations, including:
- Membership sales and marketing
- Fitness sales and marketing
- CRM management
- Key Performance Indicator tracking
- Sales and revenue reporting
- Membership cancels and freeze process
- Fitness subscription billing additions and cancels
- General sales reporting
- Club tours and outreach
- Sales process training and reporting
MITs will have a home base club but will also be deployed to any Villa Sport (or affiliate) location to gain valuable experience and to cover for management vacancies until replacements are hired and trained. Demonstrated success in the program will lead to a promotion to an Membership Experience Director, Membership Experience Manager, Fitness Director, Fitness Manager, or other position, yet to be determined in a Villa Sport property (as openings become available).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Travel
- Willing and able to travel to any Villa Sport location as required by business needs.

Skills and Knowledge
- Five-star customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong leadership aptitude.
- Proficient working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Work Experience
- Experience working for Villa Sport or other sales or service based industry.
- Experience leading a team and being a part of a high-performing team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, customer-facing position.

Education
- College degree preferred, or equivalent skills gained through experience.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching.
- Repetitive phone and computer work.
