Paid Media Manager, Performance Marketing – Home & Kitchen


An integral part of the Central Digital Marketing Team, the Performance Marketing Team focuses on acquiring and retaining consumers online across our distribution channels using media strategy and tactical execution to deliver for our iconic portfolio of brands.As the Paid Media Manager, you will provide strategic guidance on Newell’s paid media initiatives for its Home segment, driving and measuring success for national campaigns executed across multiple platforms. Through close partnership with integrated marketing, influencer marketing, segment partners, retail network marketing, and creative contributors, you will bring our paid media strategy to the next level by looking for new and innovative advertising capabilities and engaging our audience to drive business growth and profitability.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive media campaigns, with the partnership of our media agency, to deliver marketing and business objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as integrated marketing, data analytics, martech, etc. to successfully execute and optimize national campaigns that span across upper, mid, and lower funnel
  • Manage paid media budgets and adjust accordingly
  • Perform ongoing data analysis to scale and optimize campaigns to drive ROI and profitability
  • Present results and insights to necessary stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Paid Media, including platform changes and new features
  • Build and manage a team to support paid and owned social execution
  • Provide strategic guidance to overall central digital marketing team in order to ensure flawless activation strategies
  • Evolve organizational processes, reporting templates, data analysis and media planning


Requirements:

  • BS/BA or University degree in a related field
  • Experience working in a consumer packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or Retail strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of digital marketing, Ecommerce, and/or Agency work experience
  • Experience with paid social media and SEM
  • Data and operationally focused
  • Budget experience including P&L familiarity
  • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
  • Ability to operate independently and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and organizational skills
  • Interpersonally savvy with an ability to effectively work and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions, levels, and geographies
  • Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously
  • Hybrid work schedule: work from office at least three days a week
