LOCATION
Business office in Jersey City, NJ with a hybrid working schedule (3 in-office days, ability to work remotely on 2 days) and travel for home and away games as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree; MBA in Business Administration or Sports Management preferred, 4-6 years of experience in sports marketing/corporate partnerships, strong client management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Gotham FC is seeking a Manager of Partnership Marketing to collaborate across departments and manage corporate partnerships, enhancing brand integration and driving revenue through innovative marketing strategies.
The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing, this is a dynamic role that acts as the voice for the brand within the club, cross-collaborating with internal departments such as, marketing, fan experience, sales, communications, game day and soccer operations to bring to life successful partner activations. The manager oversees high-level partnership fulfillment, leading and in some cases supporting the onboarding of new partners, budget management, overall partner brand integration, and identifies revenue driving opportunities through upsells and renewals for portfolio partners.
The ideal candidate has experience as a sports brand marketer, is data driven, a team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, solution oriented with positive disposition, has excellent communication, time management, organizational, and client management skills, and is passionate about their impact within women’s sports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore and understand each partner’s business industry, and the goals and objectives for their partnership with Gotham FC.
- Produce partnership campaigns that have an integrated marketing approach and consistently provide the brand with new marketing opportunities that will help their business and generate incremental revenue for the club.
- Responsible for developing personal and business relationships with all levels of partner contacts (i.e. day to day, senior management, C level executives, etc.)
- Manage partner communications, including regular outreach, calls, meetings, and presentations.
- Positively affect partnership renewals by fulfilling all elements within partnership agreements.
- Drive upsell opportunities and partnership renewals of portfolio partners.
- Responsible for accurate brand messaging integration in marketing, communications, in-venue signage, and promotional materials.
- Delivering strategic and innovative marketing concepts and strategies that achieve partner objectives.
- Evaluating effectiveness of partnership marketing plans regularly and adjusting as needed.
- Tracking and reporting media metrics for partner activations across linear, social, and traditional media platforms.
- Work on projects or disciplines within the corporate partnerships department that will have a positive impact on the club and the overall strategy for current and new partners. Disciplines could include (but are not limited to) community relations, content and PR strategy, etc.
- Serve as a leader on the corporate partnership team with the ability to oversee full time partnership marketing coordinator and/or associate, based on qualifications, brand ambassadors, and vendors.
- Guiding logistics related to assisting in content creation showcasing successful partnerships.
- Entertaining and hosting high-level corporate executives.
- Lead administrative tasks for assigned portfolio. Tasks include (but are not limited to) maintaining detailed partner agreement trackers, preparing status and impact reports for partner accounts, managing partner specific budgets such as submitting and tracking partner activation expenses, building midseason, title night, and end of season recaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA in Business Administration or Sports Management a plus.
- 4-6 years experience in professional sports marketing/corporate partnerships at the manager or senior manager level, brand or agency experience is a plus.
- Experience in client management, partnership activation, social and marketing campaign valuation, and marketing campaign creation.

- Being bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc.).
