SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Manager of Partnership, B2B and Growth Marketing in Dallas, TX to drive growth and success of fuel distribution through partnerships and marketing strategies while leading a team and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Summary:

Based in Dallas, TX, the Manager of Partnership, B2B and Growth Marketing will play a leading role in driving the growth and success of Sunoco’s fuel distribution business by leading a team of people responsible for managing products and programs that drives a significant amount of the company’s fuel volume. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for generating incremental fuel volume through new business opportunities and growth programs.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this high-impact role will work across functions and interact with customers, partners, and senior leaders within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for current loyalty & growth program strategy, as well as identifying new verticals and partnership opportunities.
  • Drive growth through the development of fuel volume driving partnerships by prospecting, evaluating and managing a pipeline of new opportunities, determining appropriate strategic fit, as well as model the financial impact. Responsible for developing a program pipeline to deliver a run rate on incremental annual gallons.
  • Candidate will be able to track and analyze campaign performance, as well as develop feasibility tests, analyze results and manage potential program roll outs across the Sunoco footprint. Managing the budget & capital spend, driving results for expected and actual ROIs across programs and partnerships.
  • Candidate must utilize data to inform decisions and make recommendations for future actions.
  • Responsible for management of key programs with some of the company’s largest existing partners, including credit card portfolios, grocery partners, financial partners and the company’s app-based Go Rewards Loyalty program.
  • Candidate will support growing Sunoco LP’s fuel distribution network by developing and implementing comprehensive B2B marketing strategies, driving lead generation, customer insights, and owning customer communications and sales collateral.
  • Supervise & mentor a team of marketing individuals contributing to the overall strategy and deliverables. Team members include: Manager - B2B Marketing, Manager - Loyalty, Sr Specialist Growth Programs, Specialist – Analyst, & Associate Specialist Growth Programs.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to develop product concepts, test, analyze results and lead complex launches.
  • Experience developing creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline of business.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with the ability to work in white space and untapped potential, identifying opportunities and then leading the support, development and execution of plans that align to business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills; including experience reviewing performance results and financial impacts.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with other departments to provide growth programs and strategies to meet the needs of existing and growth areas within SunocoLP.
  • Ability to assist in the negotiation and execution of contracts and oversee the onboarding of new partners, which includes collaboration with Account Management, Legal, Technology and Customer Support.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
  • Results oriented with a proven track record of leadership that has taken ownership and produced strong business results

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Degree in other fields with demonstrated ability and experience also accepted.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in a variety of roles including business development, sales, marketing, and/or partner management.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint presentation development.
  • Experience in CPG, Restaurant, or B2B industry preferred.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • The Manager level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant job related experience.
  • The Sr. Manager level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel up to 10% may be required.
