Manager Regional Field Sales
LOCATION
Assigned sales region with approximately 80% fieldwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of supervisory or management experience in sales, automotive aftermarket experience, strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Desired: College degree in business or marketing, 4 years of supervisory experience, and sales training in the automotive aftermarket.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage sales activity in the region, lead and develop Territory Sales Managers and Store Managers, build relationships with national and regional account management, monitor sales performance and service levels, conduct training clinics, and ensure effective sales strategies are in place to meet goals.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Responsible for overseeing sales operations in a designated region, fostering team development, and driving sales growth while providing exceptional service to customers.
Compensation Pay Range:
$64,000.00 - $100,000.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Manage and coordinate all aspects in the development, maintenance, and growth of all sales activity in the assigned region. Spend approximately 80% of the time in the field conducting outside sales work and coordinating all sales efforts in each market through the district manager, territory sales manager, store manager, and designated installer sales specialist.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Effectively staff, supervise, lead, coach, develop, and evaluate Territory Sales Mangers (TSM) under assigned territory.
Provide leadership to TSM, Store Managers (SM), and Sales Specialists (SS) in support of company sales goals and market programs for our Professional customer based in assigned region.
Assist the Regional Director (RD), District Manager (DM), SM, TSM and SS in identifying specific customer service needs and recommend solutions that will improve company sales.
Monitor service levels in assigned region and provide competitive marketing, pricing and product information to corporate Marketing and Sales departments. Provide resolutions and recommendations for possible changes with emphasis on improving sales.
Build and maintain relationships with ownership or management of national and regional accounts in designated region by having weekly and monthly contact via email, phone or in person meetings.
Monitor, evaluate and help update TSM, SM and SS call schedules through the use of O’Pro
Analyze monthly sales reports, work with RD and DMs to target underperforming TSM and stores to come up with solutions to get back to company goals
Improve customer relations and sales call skills of DMs, SMs, TSMs, and SSs by providing both in-field coaching and training, as well as feedback through the reading of recaps and summaries using the O’Pro sales call reports.
Maintain a sales call average of 16-20 calls per day with 13-14 full call days per month.
RFSM’s daily sales call recap’s are to be emailed to the RFSM’s management team per DSM direction for each day of sales calls.
Schedule and conduct regional PBE, Fleet, Sales Specialist Training clinics And ISS Workshops
Schedule store calls a minimum of 2 weeks in advance with input from the Regional Director/District Manager’s and schedule sent to DSM.
Ensure TSM’s utilize daily Fast Track Training.
Be alert to competitive products, services, and marketing practices, and keep management and team informed of any changes.
Conduct new store sales calls and set up new accounts for new O'Reilly store locations utilizing the NSDS.
Schedule manufacturer fieldwork with TSMs and SMs.
Work with PBESR to support growth and sales goals on PBE Mixing stores “where applicable”.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
High school Diploma or Equivalent
2 years’ experience in a supervisor/management position at store level or outside sales.
Supervisory skills.
Broad automotive aftermarket experience
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
Working knowledge of auto repair, parts, equipment and systems.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Good written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and people skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Basic computer and typing skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
TSM Track in Fast Track Training.
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable Transportation
