As a Manager of Social Media Marketing, you will drive innovation and growth for our brands through strategic social media marketing, team leadership, and cross-channel collaboration.
As our Manager Social Media Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, defining, and managing our key innovation channels to reflect where we are now and where we want our portfolio of brands to be in the future. You will oversee the social media marketing team, overseeing the social channels, display channels, and push marketing stories through short form content. You will need to combine curiosity around new trends and new customer channels to bring new opportunities for strategic vision and customer growth opportunities and work closely with the CRM, Acquisition, and Campaign team to bring these new channels and learning agendas into the market. Finally, you will keep our brand priorities, voice and KPI at the forefront of your strategies and unify teams around a strategic north star in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.
Detailed Description:Essential Functions
- Lead digital ad planning calendar for growth tactics such as display, CTV and new innovation channels across portfolio brands
- Manage a team of 3-5 direct reports; ensure deadlines are met and team is set up with growth and learning opportunities.
- Lead campaign team to ensure key marketing stories are being created for innovation channels and align with brand testing strategies
- Knowledge share with creative partners to gain collaborative learnings and establish best practices.
- Partner with the CRM and Acquisition team to execute key tests, collaborate on audiences, and allocation of daily/weekly budgets.
- Develop new tactics to reach customers through new channels and tactics to push the portfolio of brands into the future
- Evangelize a “test & learn” mindset with internal and external partners
- Drives the effectiveness of campaign performance using established and ad-hoc reporting and quickly incorporates learning into corrective action
- Runs point on new tactics such as new social platform launches, influencer marketing, and other channels as needed
- Maintains process and organization to be able to easily pivot as well as share plans with cross-functional teams

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
- Three to eight years of progressive experience in Marketing and Social Media .
- Previous agency experience a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication
- Must have ability to turn ideas and strategy into a clearly managed plan
- Must have strong team building, organizational, communication and time management skills
- Requires the ability to work independently and creatively within the pressures of deadlines
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations and action plans to drive business performance.
- Must have the ability to multitask with an excellent attitude regarding change and input from others
- Must be proficient in both Macintosh and PC environments, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
