SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking an experienced Managing Family Law Attorney to lead the Family Law Department, manage a team, represent clients, and provide high-quality legal services in the Roseville (Sacramento Area) office.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Family Law Attorney to lead our Family Law Department in the Roseville (Sacramento Area) office .

This role involves overseeing and managing a team of attorneys and paralegals, and handling a caseload of family law matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in family law, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing compassionate and effective legal services to our clients

.**Key Responsibilities:

**1. **Leadership and Management:**

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Family Law Department, ensuring high standards of legal services.

- Supervise and mentor a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages professional development.

2. **Legal Representation:**

- Handle a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, paternity, and domestic violence cases.

- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.

- Provide legal advice and develop case strategies tailored to clients’ needs and objectives.

- Draft legal documents, motions, pleadings, and agreements.

3. **Client Relations:**

- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, empathy, and professionalism.

- Meet with clients to discuss their cases, update them on progress, and address their concerns.

4. **Business Development:**

- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies to attract new clients.

- Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, and other professional gatherings.

5. **Compliance and Ethics:**

- Ensure all legal practices within the department comply with state and federal regulations.

- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all aspects of legal practice.

**Qualifications:**

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Must be an active member in good standing with the California State Bar Association.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law.

- Proven leadership and management experience within a legal setting.- Strong litigation and negotiation skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

**Preferred Skills:**

- Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS), but not required.

- Experience with family law software and case management systems, including Clio.

- Bilingual abilities are a plus.

- Active involvement in professional associations related to family law.
