Seeking a proactive Marketer to strengthen relationships with referring healthcare providers and enhance MDI’s presence in the local healthcare community through strategic marketing and outreach efforts.
Build and Manage Relationships with Referring Providers:
Maui Diagnostic Imaging (MDI) is a premier provider of high-quality diagnostic imaging services on the island of Maui. Our mission is to offer exceptional care through state-of-the-art imaging technology while fostering strong, lasting relationships with our patients and referring healthcare providers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive, results-driven Marketer who will play a key role in strengthening our connections with referring providers and expanding our presence in the local healthcare community.
Position Overview:
As a Marketer at Maui Diagnostic Imaging, your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture relationships with referring healthcare providers to enhance patient referrals and strengthen the community's trust in MDI’s services. You will also be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that promote MDI’s services to both healthcare professionals and the public. Your efforts will focus on establishing MDI as the imaging provider of choice among local physicians, specialists, and medical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to drive patient referrals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for referring providers, ensuring effective communication, addressing their needs, and providing timely follow-up on patient referrals.
- Educate and engage referring providers about MDI’s services, new imaging technologies, and patient care protocols to foster trust and collaboration.
- Coordinate and support referral programs and initiatives that incentivize provider partnerships.
Community Outreach & Engagement:
- Actively participate in local medical events, healthcare seminars, and professional networking opportunities to build visibility and strengthen relationships with key referral sources.
- Organize and lead provider luncheons, office visits, and educational presentations to showcase MDI’s capabilities and foster goodwill within the medical community.
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns:
- Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote MDI’s imaging services to both healthcare professionals and the broader community.
- Create compelling and informative content for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, email newsletters, social media posts, and advertisements.
- Lead efforts to increase awareness and engagement through social media platforms, community outreach, and paid media campaigns.
Digital and Traditional Marketing:
- Oversee and manage MDI’s online presence, including social media, website content, and online ads, to ensure that marketing messages are consistent with MDI’s brand and mission.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute community and provider-facing events, such as health fairs, continuing education opportunities, and provider-focused lunch-and-learns.
- Represent MDI at medical conferences, health expos, and other relevant events to strengthen relationships with current providers and develop new referral sources.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and patient preferences to help refine MDI’s marketing approach.
- Gather feedback from referring providers and patients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on healthcare marketing, medical services, or similar industries. Experience in relationship-building with referring providers or in sales roles is highly preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with healthcare professionals, patients, and the public.
- Relationship-Building Expertise: Proven track record of establishing and maintaining successful relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, and community partners.
- Marketing Skills: Experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and print advertising. Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and Google Ads is a plus.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives and events simultaneously, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with the overall goals of the organization.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
