Position Summary:

The Marketing Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating and enhancing the performance of our marketing initiatives across various channels. This position will analyze customer and sales data, monitor trends, and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies to drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is skilled in data analysis, has a deep understanding of e-commerce, and possesses a strategic mindset to support company growth and optimize marketing efforts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and campaign performance using data from various platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).
    • Generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights to the team.
    • Develop dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across marketing channels.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to identify new market opportunities.
    • Regularly review competitor activities and performance metrics to provide recommendations for competitive positioning.
  • Campaign & ROI Optimization
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and evaluate multi-channel campaigns, including email, social media, and paid advertising.
    • Analyze the ROI of campaigns to recommend optimizations and budget allocations that maximize effectiveness.
  • Customer Segmentation & Targeting
    • Perform customer segmentation analysis to support targeted marketing campaigns.
    • Work closely with the content and CRM teams to tailor messaging to different customer segments and improve engagement rates.
  • E-commerce & Website Performance
    • Monitor website analytics, including traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and product page performance.
    • Collaborate with the web development team to recommend adjustments to improve site performance and user experience.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work with sales, product, and finance teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
    • Support the e-commerce team in identifying high-impact product placements and promotions.


Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing analysis, digital marketing, or similar role; experience in e-commerce is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and performance metrics, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights clearly to non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with SQL, R, or Python for data analysis is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:


  • This position is primarily based in-office Monday through Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

  • Visual acuity to review detailed data and analytics.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, or team collaboration as needed.
